Engine: According to the Automotive Catalog, in general there are 4 groups (Stage 1-4), namely:
– Stage-1: Modification that produces 25% additional energy from standard. The goal is to increase engine capability and reliability.
– Stage-2: Modification that produces 40% of the standard power. Usually for rally and amateur class circuit racers.
– Stage-3: Modification that produces 70-100% additional power. Used for professional racers/racers.
– Stage-4: 100% power modification and is usually used for short and straight distance sprints at supersonic speed.
Chassis: These modifications are usually concentrated on the car's Transmission system and Suspension system.
– Transmission, extreme replacement is from the standard type to the Close ratio type (the ratio of each gear is close to each other). Usually used for rallying, where gear changes are required without reducing engine power.
– Suspension, there are 2 types of modifications to this car, namely Tall and Flat. To make your vehicle taller, pay attention to the height angle between the coupling axle and the axle position, don't make it too steep, then it is very likely that the coupling axle cross joint can quickly wear out or break when you drive on bad terrain. To modify the sedan/minibus to make it flat by reducing the threads of the snail spring or leaf spring in a flat press or sometimes the curve becomes negative.
The method mentioned above should not be imitated, because a snail spring that has a reduced number of threads will lose flexibility in absorbing shocks. Likewise, the leaf springs will become less flexible and the impact of the suspension will become harder.
